I’ve been wondering for a while whether it would be okay to make puff pastry in an air fryer. Now I have to test it out, but I had some leftover puff pastry from the weekend workshop, so I went to work and tested it out.
In addition to preparing the super simple apple puff recipe, I also tested the puff pastry in the air fryer, and I can say it passed.
You can prepare your dessert, serve it with a scoop of ice cream, and never even turn on the oven.
Ingredients for 1 serving:
1 thick round dough with center removed (you can peel it, but I didn’t)
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 small piece of butter
cinnamon qb
1 round puff pastry approximately 8cm in diameter
Egg yolk for brushing teeth
preparation:
Place apples in center of puff pastry. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and add a dollop of butter. Fold the edges of the puff pastry upward and press well.
Then brush with egg yolk and bake in the air fryer at 205°C for 14 minutes.
Served cold or warm plain or with ice cream.
take pleasure in!
