Another sweet treat for Friday and another recipe that never disappoints. Better than almond pie. Just add some more seeds. Personally, I think it’s gotten better!
The recipe is classic, but the addition of seeds makes it even more irresistible. We had dinner with friends at home ahead of Easter, and it was a success and everyone loved it!
ingredient:
large quantity
50 g soft butter
130g flour
50g sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt
applied area
200g whole almonds with skin
100g sunflower seeds
100g sugar
100 g butter
50ml milk
preparation:
Place the butter, flour, sugar, eggs, yeast and salt in a bowl and knead well until a homogeneous and smooth dough is formed. Line the bottom of a removable-bottomed tart pan about 24cm in diameter, prick it with a fork and place in a preheated 180°C oven for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the almonds, sunflower seeds, butter, sugar and milk in a small pan over low heat for about 10 minutes. Continue stirring until everything is dissolved and homogeneous.
Then pour this mixture over the previously cooked dough and bake for another 25 minutes until the top is golden and caramelized.
Unmold and serve cold.
