For Benedita’s 5th birthday party, I did something I haven’t done in years. Brigadeiros sprinkled colorful sprinkles to give the pastry table a fun vibe.
The recipe is classic, basic, and there’s nothing wrong with it. The trick to making the brigadeiro really firm is to cook and caramelize the condensed milk well… not always easy!
Materials for approximately 24 brigades:
1 can of regular condensed milk
1 tablespoon chocolate powder
1 tablespoon butter
Colorful dragees to roll
corrugated paper mold
preparation:
Mix the condensed milk with the butter and chocolate powder and heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and caramelized, about 10 to 15 minutes. Then place the mixture on a plate greased with a little oil and butter and let it cool.
Then, having previously greased your hands with vegetable oil, shape it into a ball, then roll it over the dragee and cover it. Place in paper ants and refrigerate until serving.
take pleasure in!
