So, prepare the ingredients and you will love this plum and coconut jam.
I learned this wonder in the book 50 vegan lunchboxes by Katia Cardoso. The recipe is very easy and quick to make. They are also practical, you can serve them as a dessert, carry them in your bag for a snack in the middle of the day and even prepare them for birthday parties, the sweet- It looks beautiful in decorated frames.
The ingredients used, plums, figs and coconuts are foods rich in fiber, have a high concentration of antioxidant phenolic compounds and are also a source of vitamins and minerals.

Makes 10 sweets
You will need:
1 cup pitted dried plums
1/2 cup dried figs
1/2 cup grated fresh or desiccated coconut (unsweetened)
almonds or chestnuts (optional) for filling
How to do it:
In the processor, mix the plums, figs and coconut (reserve a little coconut for decoration) until well mixed and a homogeneous mass is obtained. Then, form the balls to the desired size and roll in grated coconut.
Tips:
- You can fill the sweets with almond or chestnut shavings.
- If you want, grease your hands with coconut oil or another oil of your choice to shape the sweets.
- If you use fresh coconut, be careful as it spoils easily when kept in the refrigerator.
