The sandwiches have no caprichos. Me and Daniel ficamos day montando, em nossa cabecas, esse sanduíche. We thought about different ingredients until we chose them. We invited our friends, Lili and Ricardo to come and experience our idea. The seasoning and the preparation of the grilled meat are simple, but the taste is not the same. I prepared mayonnaise at home with salsão and alho poró. The red onion jelly used is the same one I posted here on the blog. And, as thin as banana slices, but crunchy fica or chips.
The sandwich was perfect! The photos were taken naked Eliane Discacciati (like my camera).
You specify:
French bread
arugula
provolone cheese
onion jelly
roast meat
700 g of filet mignon cleaned
thyme
1 tablespoon dehydrated garlic
coarse salt (usei or pink)
ground allspice every hour
olive oil
Mayonnaise
2 baked gems
1 raw yolk
wool
juice of a lemon
1 small piece of salsão
1 small piece of garlic
Banana chips
4 green plantains
oil for frying
salt
How to do it:
roast beef: In a pestle, mix well the thyme, garlic and salt. Pour a little olive oil on the fillet and put all the seasoning around the meat. Olive oil helps to set the temperature. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. If you want less well-done meat, leave only 20. Remove the meat from the oven and place it in aluminum foil for five minutes. Then remove the paper and cut into thin slices.
Mayonnaise: Em um prato, masse as gemas cozidas. Then, put the raw yolk and mix like a fork or whipping. Add oil little by little and stir well until you get the desired amount of mayonnaise. Add the lemon juice and a little more oil and mix well until smooth. When the mayonnaise is ready, separate a ¼ and add the salsa and garlic. Like a mixer, grind well. Mix this seasoned mayonnaise with others. To finish, season with salt.
Banana chips: Cut the bananas into very thin slices. Fry them in very hot oil until slightly golden. Drain on a paper towel and season with salt.
Assembly: Open the French bread in half, put slices of grilled meat, melted provolone cheese (melted as slices in the refrigerator), a layer of red onion jelly, arugula leaves and finally mayonnaise. Serve as banana chips.
