On hot days like these, a cool drink is ideal whether you’re at a barbecue, dining outside, or gathering with friends. At home, you can choose from gin or gin cocktails, caipirinhas and sangria, as well as white or green wines and beautiful sparkling wines.
This time, after cycling through Choupal with my kids and friends, I had a rosé wine sangria as a late afternoon snack. Because life is made up of these little moments. Because we never know what tomorrow will bring us. Because we need to live today, now, with people who appreciate and value us. And cheers! And celebrate!
Ingredients for 1 pitcher of Sangria:
1 bottle of fresh rosé wine
Pulp of 4 passion fruits
4 strawberries
1 lemon
fresh mint qb
1 cinnamon stick
50g sugar
Ice QB
preparation:
Combine the passion fruit pulp, quartered strawberries, lemon wedges, sugar, cinnamon and fresh mint in a large bowl, mix well and soak for about 30 minutes if possible. Then add rose wine and plenty of ice. Mix well.
Serve immediately!
